Everyone is a collector of something. We just happen to be collector's of vases of any type--ceramic, glass, vintage--most of which are in storage. We don't really collect for value, but rather for aesthetic appeal. We knew we were vase collectors when on a trip to New York, when planning which places we would hit first--we put Jonathan Adler's SoHo store in front of the Guggenheim.
