Nice blog! Any idea what those giant wooden spools were originally? I'm guessing for heavy wire. I just picked up one at an auction.
@Small Town Boy--I'm not sure what these spools were for originally. They appear to have been used to spool wire or rope of some kind. But, the wear on the wood was incredible!!Thanks for visiting our blog.Robert
