Even before I met Bill Sofield, I was a huge fan of his work.  His re-do of the SoHo Grand Hotel was stellar, and one of the first projects of Bills that caught my eye.  So, it was a huge honor to have been able to help him (and I use the word help loosely--basically doing anything he would ask me to do when he would visit the Dallas location) when he was commissioned by Kohler to re-design the Baker trade showrooms (where I was General Manager at the time).  Bill's vision for the showroom spaces was incredible, and the furniture collection he created for Baker was equally as impressive.  And, of course, I had to snag his autograph for prosperity.
