Dad's Letter Blanket

I recently came across a cherished item my Dad gave me (it was carefully stored away for safe keeping).  In 1953, at Abbeville, La. High, my dad (who lettered in both track and football) was awarded a wool blanket since his jacket could not accommodate any more letters.  Beautiful red and gray wool.  The "A", of course, is for Abbeville--J.D. is for Jean Duhon, 1953.  Way to go Dad....
