Well, the time has come for me to get a new eyeglass frame.  So, in researching American eyewear companies that make classic plastic frames, I discovered the Shuron company.  They have manufactured eyewear in the USA since 1865 in Greenville, SC.  They designed the frames people consider to be "retro".  I am considering the Freeway frame (pictured) in ebony or brown.....

And, the good thing is that they will send you up to 4 frames to try for the deposit price on 1 frame--you can send back and try as many as you want just for the price of shipping.  The customer service is incredible.  So, I am waiting for my frames to come in the mail to try.  I am very excited to try the new style.
